Theres something really funny well quite hilarious about working within Fashion and studying it too... u get to know the bullshit! the bullshitters! and the ones who were in the right place at the right time!

So i think its his capsule collections for the likes of urban Outfitters and DEBENHAMS (YES DEBENHAMS) that really put the icing on the cake. not only do i get wound up by designers that do capsule collections... are u not good enough to stick to ur own brand and sell from ur own stores and shit?? Yes my mother will tell me to look at that comment again when im struggling in 10 years time and i want to try and do a capsule collection but c'mon now ur collections arent that bad...anyway before i go off on one about high street designer and all that crap lets get back to my point..

who in their right mind would pay the prices that Jonnie Saunders wants for his urban capsule. £297 for the multicoloured stretchy lycra dress with a bit of print having a laugh!!!!!!!!

So i first became familiar with CoOp from working in urban (urban outfitters) from this morment i will not be putting that in brackets again... i LOVE their collection for aw11 its so effortlessly cool with their slouch hats and crazy layering only thing that puts me off is it kinda screams East London i wanna be cool so i went into urban an went to their designer section an bought some shit from Cooperativedesigns... yeah ok cool but what happens when real people start to flex it?? then we get this......

Louise gray

So i've never really taken much notice of louise gray...i'm the type of person that judges a designer on the seasons an she never really stands out to me until today.. i saw her latest two collections and wow im in love not just in love but in LOVE! She really hits the nail on the head when it comes to throw everything on and then take off but she doesnt take off and it really works well. I love it man!! I wonder when she will blow up and start to get more recognition for her craziness. I would go as far as saying the new Viv but only recently sorry louise.

i love this first one especially...it kinda reminds me of my latest project...

So i've decided on my path for my brixton project but its not so much Brixton its more the long road to Brixton. I dont want it to be smack in the face bam we r showing in Brixton so my model looks like a street in Brixton! Naaa...

Heres my brain storm so far... (just warning u the next few weeks will probably be non stop posts about a certain style of fashion) :)

Brixton- fight for survival, changing town, warrior, gangs, crime culture,protection, getting out.

Eco- reinventing through clothing, layers, new materials from old

which then links into my transition- decay, nature, outdoors, natural.

I like my links i think they are really good starting points. Ive had a look through TextileView magazine and found some colour palettes etc.. and working with Kamillah means we can bounce ideas back and forth and she is looking at the transition side of decay nature and natural forms which is what interests her alot..

I found a fashion shoot in an old Vogue which the tutor really loved and so did i so im going along those lines as it links in perfectly.

Alexander Wang ss '11

I have never realy liked Alexander Wang i've always found he doesnt really fit my style his lines are too crisp and it wasnt until last season and now this hot baby that i've really started to look at his clothes. I mean take the top image for example of it wasnt for this badboy the season would have no colour for Wang. Every season i create a moodboard on my bedroom wall just to have ideas of styles etc and upcoming things i should be looking out for. This is one of the things i'll be adding to my wishlist.
